Connect StackUp to the assistant you already use. It can read your assessment scores, action plan and goals, explain what they mean, and draft the board paper. It cannot change a thing.
Connector URL
https://app.stackup.tech/mcpRead-only. OAuth 2.1 sign-in with your StackUp account. Works with any MCP client.
What it does
StackUp scores are calculated by fixed rules from your answers. The connector gives your assistant those numbers and the evidence behind them, so its advice starts from fact rather than a guess.
Your Core Technology and AI Maturity assessments, category by category, with the narratives, recommendations and every answered question behind them.
Ask what changed since the last assessment, which areas are weakest, or how the action plan lines up against the lowest scores. Every answer cites the category or question it came from.
The connector is read-only. When you want to start an assessment, change an action or upload evidence, it gives you the link into StackUp rather than pretending to do it.
Ten read-only tools
Five things to ask first
The connector ships these five as shortcuts in Claude and ChatGPT. Each one names the tools to call, so it works first time. Or just ask in your own words.
A plain-English summary of the latest AI maturity and technology scores for a board, with the three biggest risks and what changed since last time.
"Write a one-page board summary of our latest StackUp assessments with the three biggest risks."
Checks every open action against the lowest-scoring categories and surfaces what is unaddressed, what looks low value, and a recommended order for the quarter.
"Which of our lowest-scoring areas have no action in the plan?"
Given a budget or capacity constraint, recommends which actions to fund using priority, effort, estimated value and the score of the category each one targets.
"We can fund two initiatives next quarter. Which StackUp actions should they be, and what gets deferred?"
Compares the two most recent assessments of a type and explains what improved, what declined and what stayed flat, citing the questions behind the biggest moves.
"What changed between our last two technology assessments?"
A 200-word update for the CEO: for each business goal, how the technology and AI behind it is scoring, what is in flight, and the one decision being asked for.
"Write a short CEO update on where technology and AI stand against our goals."

How to connect
The setup page shows your connector URL and one-click instructions for Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code. The URL is the same for everyone.
In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. In ChatGPT: Settings, Apps and connectors, Create. Paste the URL and save.
Your AI tool sends you to StackUp to sign in and approve. Access is scoped to what your StackUp login can already see, and nothing more.
Start with the five prompts above. Scores are out of 100 and the assistant cites the category or question behind every recommendation.
Privacy and data handling
The short version: it reads what you can read, it sends that to the AI you chose, and you can switch it off whenever you like.
Every tool is a read. The connector cannot create, edit or delete anything in StackUp, and its tool annotations say so, which is why Claude and ChatGPT can run it without confirming each call.
The connector runs as you. It sees the organisations you belong to and their assessments under the same permissions as the app. No other organisation's data, ever.
Answers are generated by Claude, ChatGPT or whichever assistant you connect, under your account with that provider and their terms. Check your organisation's policy on sharing data with AI tools before connecting.
Disconnect from your AI tool's connector settings and access ends immediately. StackUp keeps an audit log of which tools were called, when, and by which client.
Full details are in the StackUp privacy policy and terms. Questions or security concerns: info@stackup.tech.
